Example:

- Go under = to go bankrupt, having no money to pay the debts
Example: They went under because of the investment policy.
- Tied up = to be blocked
Example:
All the money are tied up in these assets, we can’t buy a van right now.
- Dip into (into a budget or into the savings) = to take a small amount from some savings or from a different budget
Example:
We still have a few payments to make, we need to dip into the holiday’s budget.
